The functions of the doctoral programme’s committee are defined by the Higher Education Act, the internal regulations of Charles University, and the internal regulations of Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. The Programme Committee approves individual students’ study plans, proposes supervisors and advisors, proposes the composition of examination boards for entrance and final state examinations, and decides on the annual evaluation of study plans, to which doctoral scholarships for full-time students are tied. If the Program Committee determines that a student is not fulfilling their individual study plan, the dean issues a decision to terminate the student’s studies.
