Department of Biomedicine Applied in Kinanthropology
Department of Biomedicine Applied in Kinanthropology is a specialized department within the biomedical section of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University. The department provides instruction in biomedical foundation subjects—such as anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, biochemistry, and other medical and health-related disciplines—in various formats and specifications according to the needs of individual study programmes. In addition to direct and indirect teaching activities, the department conducts research, organizes supplementary activities, and participates in lifelong learning initiatives.

teaching of fundamental biomedical disciplines,
In addition to undergraduate education, the staff of the department is also involved in providing postgraduate education, implementing various forms of creative activities of the department in the field of biomedical sciences.
The Department provides a wide range of services to the public, especially in the areas of exercise physiology and biomechanics of sport.
