Project and Grant Centre

The Grant and Project Centre of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University
is a specialized workplace that provides support to academic and scientific staff in the preparation, administration and implementation of grant projects. It provides consultations on funding opportunities, assists with the administration of applications and monitors current calls for domestic and international grants.
The Grants and Projects Centre manages the entire project portfolio at the faculty level, strategically planning and managing project activities to meet the strategic objectives of FTVS.

The Centre carries out and provides

guidance in identifying suitable grant opportunities

organization of training sessions and workshops focused on project proposal writing and project management

methodological support in budget preparation and project activity planning

administrative oversight of project implementation and monitoring compliance with funding providers’ requirements

cooperation with other faculty departments and external partners in the area of grant support

furthermore, the Centre cooperates with other university departments and external partners to ensure effective information sharing and support throughout the entire project management process

it also prepares informational materials and provides individual consultations to help applicants increase their chances of successfully obtaining funding
