Senior Active Lifestyle Centre

Senior Active Lifestyle Centre is a newly established workplace of Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport that offers space for meaningful, health-promoting and socially beneficial activities for people aged 60+. The aim of the centre is to promote physical, mental and social health of older people through physical, educational, cultural and community programmes.

The Centre, within its activities, carries out and provides

implementation of educational programmes, courses, lectures, and workshops aimed at supporting lifelong learning for seniors,

regular physical, sports, and recreational activities adapted to the age and abilities of participants,
health-oriented and wellness programmes promoting physical and mental well-being,
cultural, social, and community events aimed at strengthening social ties and intergenerational dialogue,
activities of the University of the Third Age (U3A), including its preparation, coordination, and implementation,
research activities focused on the quality of life and health of the senior population,
residential and rehabilitation stays for seniors.
